UEFA 39 - Unexpected European Far-flung Adventure

UEFA = Unexpected European Far-flung Adventure
Sorry no pictures for the early part of this trip. As we were moving too fast rushing to go to Amsterdam.
The next Unexpected European Far-flung Adventure was in 1996 (UEFA1996).

Frankly speaking, the unexpected far-flung adventure which happened in March 1996 was engineered by my dear wife. She made all the preparations and the money-saving strategies.

It was a flight to-and-fro Sin-Lon-Sin via Royal Brunei, which I remembered was about S$800.00 per person. We did not join any travel group or holiday package. We went on some kind of a bag-pack plan.

As usual I was the route planner and transportation. From previous experience, I found that the Euroline bus service would be a good alternative to trains. I read about it extensively, and was confident about its reliability.

Euroline is available at Victoria Bus Terminal in London.

From the Heathrow Airport we took the tube to Gloucester to meet my niece, Riny, who was studying there is London. She stayed in Gloucester. It was a very short meeting, as we were in a hurry to catch the Euroline bus to Amsterdam.

Although it was a short meeting but I was happy that we could made contact although, she was from Malaysia, and we were from Singapore, but we met in Gloucester, England. Ain’t that some kind of an achievement.
